My name is Leanne Ludviksen and I started Poodle Crossing because of my love for the breed. I grew up with poodles and have always had a love for them, so the direction I took with standard poodles was perfect for me!

 

Because of allergies in our household their hypoallergenic coat, which sheds very little, can be a plus for allergy sufferers. Standard poodles make a great choice for a family dog due to their intelligence, playful nature, and loyalty. Being the second smartest dog in the world, standard poodles are a breeze to train!

 

My goal has always been to give families a puppy with a fantastic temperament, sound structure, excellent confirmation, and great genetic health background.

Working as a team

Poodle Crossing is not just made up of myself. My kids (now teens and older) have their hands in everything poodle.  They help with everything from the whelping process, cleaning, laundry, and of course puppy play and training!

We are a team and gather often for puppy/dog play dates and visits.  We see each other as an extended family!
